Owner and award winning Groomer Deidre Howard has been grooming dogs professionally for over 15 years. She graduated from Pampered Paws Grooming Academy here in her home town of Toronto in 1997. Shortly after graduating, Deidre moved to the west coast and settled in Vancouver where she ran several successful doggy spas over a 12 year period.Deidre has won multiple awards for her grooming, including being honoured as the Silver Winner of the 2002 Best in the West ? WestEnder Readers' Choice award in the category of Best Dog Groomer, and the Georgia Straight Readers' Choice Winner for Best Pet Grooming/Best Pet Spa in 2007 and 2008, and a Silver award in 2009.In the fall of 2011, Deidre returned home to Toronto to open Tailspin Dog Spa, your new downtown doggy oasis. Deidre believes that every dog that comes to Tailspin Dog Spa is unique in their own special way and deserves the best love and care she can give them.
