Poplar Valley Organic Farms is located in north eastern central Saskatchewan on the 53rd parallel. The soil is fertile, the air is clean, and there is an abundance of sunshine all year round.The farmers living in our community are environmentally conscious; a healthy lifestyle is of great importance to us. We continue to experiment with new ideas in organic farming methods that work to maintain the health and integrity of the land. This area is very productive in legume crops (alfalfa, lentils, peas and clovers) which produce many soil nutrients that help to fertilize the soil naturally. This provides us with an endless opportunity for high quality products without chemicals.We are involved in organic farming because we are committed to the simple philosophy that if the land is to sustain us, we must sustain it.
