PAWSITIVELY PURRFECT PETSITTING is a loving alternative to a kennel. I truly love being with and around dogs and I have been in my home-based business since 2001. What I do is unique to the area as I petsit; not kennel, crate or cage. We are situated on one acre of a beautiful park-like setting with over three hundred trees and shrubs. No matter winter, spring, summer or fall, the dogs love to explore and play on this amazing piece of wonderland. The dogs get free-range monitored play and fun through out the day on this fully fenced and private property. My hours of business are 8am to 5pm with drop offs and pickups at pre-approved times only. Pet care is 24 hours a day with all dogs safely inside during the night. I provide petsitting for those who work on a daily basis, overnight stays, weekends, weeks, etc. The dogs are in and out all day with their bedtime coinciding with mine. When it is too hot or cold outside, they are inside my home, out of the dangerous elements.The bigger dogs stay in the specially designed “dog room” whereas the little dogs hang out in a separate area. I have an extensive knowledge of animals, especially dogs. I grew up on a hobby farm (on this actual property) and also I worked part-time (starting at the age of nine until I was twenty-two years old) at a local veterinary hospital. Whether they are puppies, adults or elderly needing medication, I am a highly confident, attentive, reliable and skilled caregiver to pets. All dogs I petsit must be social, good with children, people, other dogs and completely non-aggressive. Along with being spayed and neutered, they must be fully vaccinated, including kennel cough (Bordetella). Also a flea/lice treatment must be administered pre-arrival. For me, petsitting is a labour of love. The animals bring me so much enjoyment and pleasure. This beautiful, unique and inviting oasis was meant to be enjoyed by them.
