General Information
Many salons do not de-matt PERIOD but on most dogs the matts CAN be removed without distress to the pet, but this is done at your own risk as some irritation may occur during the process, and if the coat is TOO MATTED, then it will be clipped down, as matt removal can be quite uncomfortable or even painful for the dog. Some tolerate more than others, and we will only go as far as the DOG allows. With our specialized techniques we can usually save more coat than the average groomer, so your dog isn't completely bald after a matt removing session.
