Our family immigrated to Canada over 12 years ago. Like most immigrants in a completely new country, we were very home sick and uncertain about what it is that we could do. We missed family, friends and many other things taken for granted back home. One thing we missed the most was good 'homey' food. Whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, eating together as a family was very important.
