The word Chettinadu Hotel was coined by its founder Mr.Anjappar. Thus Anjappar Hotel became the pioneer in "Chettinadu food". Mr.Anjappar, the founder of this restaurant, hailed from the famous Chettinad area in the South Indianstate Tamil Nadu.
