Chef and owner of Alex Oh Sushi & Rolls (opened in October, 2014). Alex Oh began his career 16 years ago in the town of Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. While studying in Japan, he started working in a Japanese restaurant only to earn enough money for a living. But he became fascinated by his Chef's passion and dedication to his food. Alex Oh decided to walk the path of becoming a Japanese chef. the Spring of 2013, Alex ?wanted to experience the beauty of East Coast Canada for the first time of his life. His last stop in Halifax, Nova Scotia, overwhelmed him with a sense of warmth and kindness of its people. ?At that very moment, he knew this is the city he wanted to open his very own restaurant.?
